Amy Goldstein: Owner & Graphic Designer
I was born in Los Angeles, California and moved to Issaquah, Washington at the age of 10. Somewhere in the next few years, I discovered design. I can credit two of my friends in 6th grade for suggesting I join the Yearbook club. From then on, I was hooked. Eventually I ended up being Yearbook Editor in High School and tried to figure out how to make this love into a career.
I went to college in beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA at Cal Poly. As a Graphic Communication Major (and Packaging Minor) I learned all I possibly could about printing and design. Once I graduated, I moved back to the Seattle area and began working at a print shop. In my first job I got to help a struggling prepress department prosper and quickly made myself indespensable. I had to move on to a bigger and better print shop at that point. From then on, I got some great experience at a higher level of printing.
While working full time, I had been building my client base on the side. It eventually got to the point where I decided to quit my full-time job to officially start my design business.
Call Me Amy Design officially started in April 2007, and continues to grow!
I live in Seattle with my husband and pet Uromastyx.
